Return And Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase from Aathikalam. Please read the conditions below carefully.
Eligibility for Return / Exchange
- A return or exchange request must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- The product must be:
• Unused and unwashed
• In original condition with tags, labels and packaging intact
• Accompanied by the original invoice / bill
- Products purchased under clearance sale, heavy discount, or special offers may be non-returnable and non-refundable, except in case of genuine manufacturing defect.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and quality reasons, the following are usually not eligible for return (unless damaged on receipt):
- Blouses, innerwear, petticoats or customised stitched items
- Items with tags removed, used, stained, or damaged by the customer
- Products that have been altered, resized or customised as per customer request
Reporting Damage or Defect
- Any physical damage, manufacturing defect, or wrong product delivered must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Please share clear photos / videos and order details with our customer care team via WhatsApp / email.
- Once verified and approved by our quality assurance team, we will arrange an exchange or refund as applicable.
Return Process
1. Contact our Customer Care and raise a return request with your order number and reason.
2. Our team will review and confirm whether the product is eligible for return or exchange.
3. Depending on your location, we may:
- Arrange a reverse pickup through our courier partner, or
- Request you to ship the product back to our address.
4. Once we receive the product and it passes quality inspection, we will process your refund / exchange within 7–10 working days.
Important: Without obtaining a return request / approval from us, products sent back on your own may not be accepted or processed.
Refund Mode
- For prepaid orders (card / UPI / wallet / net banking), refunds will usually be processed back to the original payment method or as store credit / gift voucher, as per your choice and our policy at that time.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be provided as store credit / gift voucher only.
- In some cases, a small amount may be deducted towards return shipping or handling charges, which will be informed during the return approval.
Shipping Charges & Deductions
- Shipping charges are non-refundable once the order is shipped. This includes:
• Original shipping charges, and
• Return shipping / pickup charges (if applicable).
- Any surcharge paid for remote areas or special delivery conditions is also non-refundable.
- In certain cases we may deduct a fixed amount from the refund amount towards repacking or return handling. This will be communicated in advance.
International Orders
- For international orders, returns may be limited due to customs restrictions and high shipping costs.
- Where returns are allowed, the customer will usually bear both forward and return shipping charges, customs duties, and any additional fees. These charges are non-refundable.
